Looking back on
„Roof + Timber“ 2008 in Stuttgart
Excellent start for the new leading exhibition for roofers and carpenters “Roof + Wood” taking place in Stuttgart from 5 th to 8 th March, 2008 for the first time.
Whereas “Roof + Wall” 2005 in Leipzig had only approx. 6,000 visitors, a noticeable upwards trend could be seen in Cologne in 2006 with approx. 30,000 visitors. After deciding to hold the exhibition every 2 years only, in Stuttgart approx. 60,000 visitors were counted. On an exhibition area of approx. 70,000 m², approx. 554 exhibitors from 23 countries were represented, and everyone praised the new exhibition halls, the location, the great crowd of visitors and especially the quality of the visitors since approx. 92 % of the visitors were businessmen.
The quality of the exhibition, the exhibitors and visitors were well received by everyone, and the newly designed stand of DWS Pohl GmbH was in great demand showing revolutionary new products and giving away presents (hard hats) popular with young and old.
Our exhibition highlight caused a sensation due to its revolutionary effects on the market: DWS Pohl GmbH attained the DIBt-Certificate for all safeguards-against-falling as Europe’s first manufacturer of flat roof safeguards-against-falling.
This means for you and your safety on site:
Supports, fixing and fixing to the most used base materials (such as concrete, wood, steel, steel trapezoidal panels) were tested as a whole for the first time.
(While the competitors test only the supports according to
DIN EN 795).
The DIBt-Cetificate was very well received and appreciated by all visitors (roofers, carpenters, architects, site managers, wholesale dealers, health & safety coordinators).
Furthermore, the areas Systea und Aluform were successfully represented at the exhibition and were quite busy informing and taking care of clients and interested visitors.
All in all, the exhibition was a great success for us!
We thank all our visitors and are looking forward to seeing you again at the “Roof + Wood” 2010 in Cologne!!!
See you again in 2010 in Cologne!
