History of POHL

Founded in 1856 as a wheelwright's shop originally, Pohl was enlarged to a metal-working shop after World War II of which I became director in 1974.
The boom in construction business in the Eighties as well as the rising demand for aluminium wall claddings led the firm to its main business today, facade and bending technology.
With our modern production possibilities we manufacture for you cladding panels and bended profiles made from any metal, however, especially from aluminium and stainless steel.
As a supplier for our main target group (metal construction and facade firms, roofers and roofing trade) we belong to the most competent and highly efficient partners of the whole trade, and this all over the world.
As a supplier offering a complete system for the outer skin of buildings, also custom constructions and special formed parts are our daily business; therefore we regard optimum technical equipment and high-level craftsmanship of our employees as an important requirement.
The POHL Group offers technically high-class metal cladding solutions for roofs and walls for shops and industrial buildings as well as for office, administration and residential buildings.
